| Andrea Knutson grew up on a family-owned dairy farm in Minnesota. Her initial love of the water arose
through family excursions, swimming, hiking and canoeing along the Mississippi River. A visit to Seattle during college stimulated a move to the Pacific Northwest shortly after her
graduation from Winona State University.
Andrea has a degree in Social Services and, when not cruising, works as a mental health counselor in Jefferson County. If friendliness is a stereotype
attributed to Midwestern people, then Andrea adds clout to the cliché. Fun-loving and easy going, yet determined and tough, she has the grit it takes for long, tough passages.
Her specialty, beyond all normal shipboard duties, is spotting hard-to-see wildlife on shore.
