S/V Singawing

The Schooner S/V Singawing

Our sailboat charters are offered aboard Singawing, a fifty-six foot staysail schooner. Her beam is sixteen feet which provides for substantial interior volume. Constructed of fiberglass in Richmond B.C., she was built to safely navigate through the open ocean and any weather that may be encountered during our sailboat charters.
Because of her center cockpit, Singawing is blessed with a spacious main salon that allows plenty of light to radiate inside. She can be operated from below or above decks. All interior seating surfaces are newly upholstered in luxurious ultra-suede and leather. Guests are welcome to peruse the selection of northwest and nautical books along with novels and a movie selection. The entire boat is heated by a 50,000 BTU hydronic boiler. The heating system includes on demand hot water, individual climate control within each space and heated towel racks and cock pit. You will be comfortable and dry.
Singawing is impressive under sail reaching speeds at times in excess of eleven knots. Her displacement is 34 tons and feels solid and secure while under sail. All of the sail controls are led aft to the cockpit and are furled for easy use. Sailing participation is welcomed.
